Internal postal item
Internal postal item – postal item dispatched and delivered on the territory of Republic of Moldova
Internal postal items include:
- letters (ordinary, registered, insured value);
- postal cards (ordinary, registered);
- printed papers (ordinary, registered);
- small packets (ordinary, registered);
- literature (ordinary, registered);
- parcels (ordinary, insured value).
Internal postal items are classified in: local items and items to other localities:
- local items – presented and delivered in radius of urban locality, and in rural localities – in radius of serving of a postal unit:
- items to other localities – addressed to other localities than that of presentation.
Ordinary postal item – item that is not subject to any special formality, and need no particular processing, being forwarded by post on a usual tote, without registration and issue of receipt.
For forwarding the item is deposited in public postal boxes, for delivery – in individual postal boxes.
Registered item – is presented without contents evaluation, the sender receives a receipt and signs in a special register or on advice f-22, after which is effectuated the delivery to the addressee.
Insured postal item – registered item (letters, parcels) received with insured value which is appreciated by the sender, with the issue of a receipt and handed to the addressee with the signature.
Supplies of an address:
- addressee’s name (name, surname or complete name of the institution, enterprise);
- street, number of the building, apartment’s number;
- postal code;
- locality (city, village);
- name of administrative-territorial unit;
- country.
Addressee’s address is written on the right half in the recto low part of the item. The addressee’s name and address will be indicated in the superior left angle of the item. On letters, addressee’s address can be written on its opposite side. The postage stamps or postal franking impression is applied on the upright part of the item.
Postal tariff – fixed price according to a convention or normative act, used in performance of postal services.
