Quality control of postal items
An important role in the system of quality postal service indicators estimation come to processing, delivery and passing terms of postal items.
In order to improve the quality level in postal service performance and determine the passing terms of letter post, Republic of Moldova participates in controls organized at international level.
Continuous control on passing terms of ordinary correspondence is organized by Universal Postal Union (UPU) between postal Administrations, through internet.
Continuous testing represents the verification of international postal service quality using new informational technologies. The control is organized permanently, a fact that increase the value of the received information. The advantage of this control is – internet use in data transmission and report of results.
Postal Administration of Moldova effectuates this control with the following countries: Albania, Spain, Great Britain, Romania, Turkey, Belarus, and Ukraine.
Results of UPU continuous control
Concomitant with continuous control organized by UPU, S.E. “Posta Moldovei” participates at continuous control on passing terms of ordinary correspondence organized by Regional Commonwealth in Communications (RCC). According to activity plan of Postal Operators Council, RCC early organizes end-to-end control of passing terms of ordinary air and surface correspondence and forwarding of dispatches between Moldova and Ukraine.

At the same time, S.E. “Posta Moldovei” effectuates internal control.
Internal control, organized by quality management direction, is effectuated quarterly. During the control, correspondence passing terms are verified on the territory of Republic of Moldova and Chisinau municipality.
